  Terms & Conditions - Innovation Floor Coatings

1. Acceptance of Estimate

By accepting this estimate, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Deposit and Payment

A 40% deposit is required to schedule the installation and cover the costs of the products and supplies. The final payment is due upon completion of the job. We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal, Cash app, Venmo, and cash. Please note that there is a 4% fee for credit card transactions.

3. Preparation for Installation

Prior to our arrival, we kindly request that you remove all belongings from the floor, including hanging items that may obstruct movement around the area. If stairs are to be coated but were not discussed during the estimate, additional costs will be discussed with the lead installer.

4. Noise and Timing

During the installation process, there may be a period of high noise due to the use of generators and various tools. Our installers will arrive between 8 am and 10 am and will notify you when they are on their way. For safety and proper curing, please refrain from walking on the newly installed floor for at least 24 hours. Avoid moving heavier items and vehicles into the area until 72 hours after installation, preferably allowing a full 7-day cure, or 7-10 days in temperatures below 70 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent indents on the floor.

5. Ventilation and Odor

When the final coat is applied, there may be an odor lasting up to 72 hours. For adequate ventilation, ensure your garage door remains open throughout the day following the installation. Leaving the garage door open a few inches overnight will prevent it from sticking to the floor. A $750.00 fee applies if the garage door is fully closed and gets stuck.

6. Preparation for Floor Surface

Remove all plants and furniture from the areas where the floor will be installed. Ensure there is no standing water or humidity on the surface as it may compromise the adherence and curing process. If the sides of your patio are being coated, clear the area around by approximately 5-6 inches.

7. Surface Drying and Usage

Keep water off the patio for 24 hours before and after installation to allow for proper drying. You should be able to walk on the surface the day after completion, but some tackiness may persist for a short time.

8. Warranty and Maintenance

After completion, your warranty will be sent to you within 3-5 business days. Maintenance is easy, and most people use soap and water for cleaning. Avoid power washing, as it may damage the floor. A degreaser like dawn dish soap is recommended for oil spills.

9. Cancellation

Cancellation is allowed within 7 days of the purchase date without penalty. If canceled within this period, a $750 cancellation/re-stocking fee will be deducted from the deposit. The refund process may take up to 10 business days. Final payment is due on the day of installation, and failure to provide full payment will initiate collection efforts.

10. Liability

Innovation Floor Coatings is not responsible for any injuries resulting from slipping or falling on the newly coated surface. Please exercise caution, especially in adverse weather conditions.

11. Marketing and Photography

Please be aware that our installation team takes photos of completed projects for marketing purposes. If you wish to opt-out of this practice, please inform your salesperson or installer upon completion.
